I have a 2007 2500hd duramax. I have been having an issue with the truck not wanting to start. It will turn over and over and over and will not start. I have to cycle the key a few times before it will start. I was thinking it was a fuel issue so I changed the fuel filter and it seemed to fix the problem for a few days but it is now doing it again. Any ideas on what it could be? I would check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail to see if it is within spec. If it is low, it could be a problem with the fuel pump or a clogged fuel line. If the pressure is fine, it could be an issue with the fuel injectors or the fuel pressure regulator. It may also be worth checking the glow plugs and glow plug relay if the truck is hard to start when cold. It could also be an issue with the ignition system, such as a faulty ignition coil or spark plugs. If you are not comfortable checking these things yourself, I would recommend taking the truck to a mechanic for a diagnosis.
