Introduction
This document is an updated version of the RND technical guidelines document [1]. Although many parts of the document are extracted from [1] and they are not changed, the general structure of the present report has been modified.
This document is valid for TCP release 8.0. A section on TCP optimiser functionalities (AMI, ASMT, ANA, ACP valid from TCP 6.3 and later versions) is present (section 3).
The purpose with this document is to give detailed guidance about how to use TEMS CellPlanner(TCP), i.e. the theory behind the parameter settings, how to run simulations and how to interpret the analysis result.
Updating is performed considering P6 release features. The features include HSDPA phase 2 and MBMS for Mobile TV. These features are implemented in TCP 8.0 release. EUL support is enhanced in this release with new simulation plots and statistics for EUL performance analysis.
