职位名称： System Debug Engineer


Responsible for critical issue cause finding on each software release in an efficient manner most independently.
 The behavior of issue would be very strange, for example, the device can’t power up or not able to make a call with new software flashed.
 The issue could be caused in very different area, e.g. driver, protocol stack, memory configuration or even in hardware.
 Responding promptly and professionally to critical bug reports with efficient way.
 Working closely with Software Project management team, Software release team, Verification team and other component team.
 Strong and effective communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of clients and staff.
 Capable of writing proposals or papers with English.
 Making presentations to customer or client audiences or peers with English.
 Design and develop systems solution making specific determinations about system performance.
 Review and input to the core function code change.
 Expected to conduct analysis and development on system level.
 Responsible for developing SW solution to demonstrate the new proposal.
 Provide recommendations to management concerning issues of programmer productivity and software development management.
 Provide assistance to testers to determine system problems.
 Research and recommend software tools to management.
 Guide the junior system debugger.
 The work is extremely important for each software deliver with high pressure.
Requirement:
 more than 3 years working Experience in embedded system, especially on Mobile phone SW.
 A solid understanding and concepts of RTOS, exposure to OS Tasks and Memory handling in RTOS. Familiar with ThreadX is prefer.
 Overall knowledge of the Embedded/Mobile phone SW architecture, including Driver, Protocol stack and MMI. Nice to have basic GSM protocol knowledge.
 Expert knowledge of Target debugging with any tool, e.g. Lauterbach/T32, Oscilloscope, etc. Hands on debugging skill
 Proficient in language C, ASM.
 Ability to determine whether a critical problem is caused by hardware, operating systems software or application programs.
 Excellent communication skills on verbal and written English.
 Ability to multi-task as this job is high pressure and multiple things need to be handled.
 Possess a positive attitude, good team player and fast learner.
